Ahh.. the weekend is here again. Sorry I didn't update on Thursday, as I usually do. Instead, I have been
dedicating my Thursday afternoons to playing basketball. Especially with the upcoming Spring Break in
sight.. the official news is in: the four ND guys that are not leaving Japan for break are heading to the
beachy, warm, wide open Okinawa for a week at the end of March. And to prep for this, I am toning my
already chiseled physique in a last-ditch effort to impress all the great ladies I am sure to meet and
sweep them off their feet. Or something like that.
Well, it's March. That means we have about two months and a week before I get to come home and buy
pop for less than a dollar and a half a can. Besides, almost three weeks of that are vacations days, so
the time will undoubtedly fly.
Last weekend, I went to a movie called "The Boondock Saints." Very strange. The more I think about it,
the less I really like it. Raises some interesting questions. Entertaining.
I read the book "Hearts in Atlantis" by Stephen King. Really good book that didn't make a ton of sense
at parts, but gave me a shot of nostalgia, and a look into the 1960s. Not a scary book...not really. Not
like you'd expect.
This week saw my Kanji test(which I aced!) and another test, which I did terrible on, just like everyone
else. Erghh...
Played a lot of basketball this week.. in fact, sorta sprained my ankle after a particularly rough
game on Thursday. It didn't stop me from going out last night and watching the movie "Unbreakable"
though. Great great great movie. I definitely recommend it. Highly entertaining, and with all kinds of
weird developments. I won't mention anything else about it except that you should see it.
Not a ton of news lately from here..reading Dave Barry's book about computers. Hilarious.
Good night, moon.
