Why? WHY?

I have spent the last six years of my life studying, collecting, and archiving artifacts relating to this specimen. Where many scientists would have given up in favor of easier, more lucrative quarry, I have not relented. Where other scientists have made ground-breaking discoveries in every area of study, I have waived such temptations in favor of this particularly intriguing task. How is this possible? Why have I not given in to the lure of fame, fortune, and progress sought after by other scientists? Because I am not a scientist. In fact, I'm not even smart. I'm just a man. A man dedicated to DeJarnatt.
